Situated in the pretty North Essex hamlet of Church End, on the edge of Shalford village, Lynton House B&B is 5 minutes drive from Towerlands Park Equestrian Centre , 8 minutes from Braintree and Bocking and 25 minutes from Stansted Airport

Conveniently located to the local wedding and conference venues  of  Spains Hall, High Barn, Fennes Estate, Hedingham Castle, Leez Priory, Greenstead Hall and Gosfield Hall, we are also close to the lovely villages and towns of Finchingfield, Great Bardfield, Wethersfield, Castle Hedingham, Gosfield, Halstead, Thaxted,  Saffron Walden, Stebbing and Felsted

Relax in our large comfortable guest lounge, furnished with sumptuous reclining setees and enjoy the lovely views of the garden and open countryside. A laptop with wireless broadband internet is available, as well as tea and coffee making facilities

We have our own resident licensed Private Hire Car and Driver, which can be booked when making a reservation, however advanced booking is essential

Our local pub, The George is only a short walk away and provides excellent food should you require an evening meal. You can also enjoy the excellent localy brewed Shalford ale's. 

Free Wi-Fi access is available from your own laptop or you are welcome to use ours. 

For your convenience there is ample off-street parking which is illuminated at night.

This is a non smoking establishment but guests are welcome to use the patio or garden. 

We regret that we unable to accommodate children between the ages of one and ten, or pets. 

Checking-in is by arrangement and we ask that rooms are vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure.
